3D Electronics and Sensors
We are exploring novel device concepts and nanofabrication technology towards applications in life science and energy.
In the life-science area, our focus is on novel sensor concepts targeting detection of ions and charged molecules (such as DNA) with high signal output, low noise and short response time. Our recent achievement with the demonstration of a so-called IGBA sensor gives an example of our pursuit in this direction.
In the energy related area, we are currently working on an energy-efficient 3D chip technology.
